  • Do you provide recycling bin bags and liners?
    Yes! One 13-gallon bin bag and 60 liners are provided with each new subscription. More bags can be purchased from our shop if needed.
  • How many bin bags are recommended for each subscriber?
    We recommend each subscriber to have two bin bags: one for plastics and the other for cardboard recyclables. Each subscription comes with one bin bag, but more can be purchased from our shop!
  • What days will my recyclables be picked up?
    Pickups for subscribers are done once a week on Sundays between the hours of 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm.
  • How many bags of recyclables can be picked up?
    Please leave no more than two bags for pickup. If you live in an apartment complex, place both bags outside of your door and within your bin bag, stacked one on top of the other. If you live at a private residence, feel free to simply place the recycling bags outside of your door.
  • Is the process different for apartments and houses?
    Yes. If you live in an apartment complex, be sure to adhere to your apartment's policies regarding trash. To promote cleanliness, place your recyclables outside of your door and within your bin bag, stacked one on top of the other. If you live at a private residence, feel free to simply place the recycling bags outside of your door. No more than two bags can be picked up at a time.
  • How are subscriptions billed?
    You will be charged on a monthly basis for whichever subscription you choose. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. Refunds will not be issued if the subscription is cancelled before the end of a billing cycle.
  • Do you provide recycling services for events?
    Yes! Contact us to inquire about our recycling services for local events.
  • What do I do about issues with my pickups?
    If you have issues with your recycling pickups, give us a call at (757) 576-4513 or send us an email at thetrashvaletva@gmail.com. We will work to promptly resolve any problems.
